Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Norseland, Inc. is part of a global food system: our owners are Norwegian dairy farmers, and our partners produce cheeses across Europe and the US. The COVID-19 pandemic has altered daily life for all of us.

Our teams, from farmers to sales to logistics, are working closely and transparently with customers and suppliers to maintain our food supply chain, adapting where necessary to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. All our facilities have implemented crisis management plans that prioritize employee and consumer health & safety. These active protocols aim to maintain the health of our communities and meet the needs of our customers.

Foremost, we thank all of the essential workers, both domestically and abroad, who are working to maintain a safe food supply chain. Protecting employee health and maintaining a safe working environment is our top priority. Norseland consistently monitors state and federal mandates to remain safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We understand retailers across the country are experiencing unprecedented market challenges. As your partner, Norseland assures our customers that:

  • All Norseland manufacturing plants and office facilities have crisis management plans that are challenged yearly and audited by a third party to verify effectiveness.  It encompasses all system sites and operations facilities, with the goal of reducing service outages and restoring full operations.

  • All production facilities have been charged with evaluating inventory levels to maintain stability.

Access to safe, healthy, and fresh food throughout this crisis is important for all of us. We are proud of the resilience of our entire community, from our domestic facilities to our global partners abroad.

Thank you and take care,

John Sullivan, President & CEO Norseland, Inc.
