The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association announced the 2020-21 Officers and Board of Directors at their 2020 Annual Business Meeting, held virtually. Heather Iafrate, Norseland General Manager of Marketing, was elected to serve a three-year term alongside other industry leaders.
Heather has worked in the specialty food industry since 2009, specializing in launching European specialty cheese brands in the US market. She manages Norseland marketing and new product development, executing strategic programs that build brand value and convert new consumer segments. She is passionate about engaging younger generations in the industry; in addition to now serving on the IDDBA Board of Directors, she serves on multiple IDDBA advisory committees, including Events, Next Generation, What’s in Store Live and Market Research. She earned her MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University in 2019.
IDDBA is a nonprofit trade association for food retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, brokers, distributors, and other industry professionals. Their membership includes more than 1,500 companies ranging from small independents to the world's largest corporations. IDDBA helps its members enhance their economic position by providing opportunities for professional dialogue, education, exchange of industry data and selling opportunities.
