Mr. Brohel started his career in Norseland in 1980 and was President and CEO of Norseland from 1991 until he retired in the autumn 2006.
In its appraisal the Council of the Order has particularly emphasized Mr. Brohel’s achievements during his long-standing leadership of the Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce, as President and CEO of the company Norseland Inc. Mr. Brohel has worked through the years to develop, market and increase the trade between Norway and USA. The Council has in addition emphasized his commitment and support to the work of promoting Norwegian culture in USA.
