Ingredients for honey marinated tomato
Plum tomato, remove skin and seeds.
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
½ lemon, zest
½ vanilla pod
salt and pepper
Directions for honey marinated tomato
Bring the honey, vanilla and lemon zest to a boil. Cut the tomatoes in four and add the tomatoes to the casserole. Season with salt and pepper. Leave to cool.
Ingredients for the crostini
7 oz Jarlsberg
1/8 cup arugala salad
1 baguette cut in 1” slices
Directions for the crostini
Toast the baguette slices. Cut Jarlsberg in approx. ½” slices, place on lightly buttered baking/oven paper and gratinate until slightly soft. Place some arugala salad on the toast, then a ¼-marinated tomato and top with a slice of gratin Jarlsberg. Drip some of the marinate on top before serving
